Babymetal brings their explosive heavy metal sound to Colorado in September. The North American tour dates feature Halestorm and Violent Vira.
DENVER — Japanese heavy metal rock group Babymetal will come to Colorado on a new world tour.
Babymetal announced a new North American tour will begin with a show at Ball Arena on Wednesday, Sept. 2.
Supporting the group on the North American tour dates will be Halestorm and Violent Vira.
Tickets for concerts in the United States and Canada will be available beginning with an artist presale starting Monday, April 6, at 10 a.m. local time. A Citi presale will begin April 6, with additional presales ahead of the general ticket sale starting Friday, April 10, at 10 a.m. local time.
Formed in 2010, Babymetal gained popularity in Japan for their explosive live shows. By 2013, they had opened for Red Hot Chili Peppers, Korn, and Lady Gaga.
“Fronted by three dynamic women — Su-Metal, Moametal, and Momometal — Babymetal has helped reshape the face of metal, inspiring a new generation of women and girls who see themselves in this sound and on these stages,” concert promoter Live Nation said.
