NTT West partners with Kyoto University on IOWN-based infrastructure

NTT West has signed a collaboration agreement with Kyoto University to develop and apply a data-driven infrastructure based on the operator’s Innovative Optical and Wireless Network (IOWN) concept. The agreement builds on an MoU reached in October 2025 and focuses on joint work across research, education, technology development and regional initiatives.
