KYOTO (TR) – Kyoto Prefectural Police are searching for a fifth-grade boy who went missing in Nantan City this week, reports Nippon News Network (Mar. 26).
The missing boy is Yuki Adachi, a fifth-grader at Sonobe Elementary School in Nantan City.
According to police, Adachi was last seen by his father around 8:00 a.m. on Monday after he drove the boy to the vicinity of the school.

Adachi was not captured on the school’s security cameras. Although the school was aware he hadn’t attended, they were busy with the graduation ceremony that day and did not immediately contact his parents.
With a slender build, Adachi stands about 135 centimeters tall. When he was last seen, he was wearing a yellow hat and a gray sweatshirt with the number 84 on his chest.
Police are continuing their search and appealing for any information.
