I Found Japan’s Best Ramen.
On my first full day in Tokyo, I may have accidentally stumbled upon a hidden gem. I’ve eaten thousands of bowls of Ramen in my life, and this one was life changing.

The statue at Shibuya Crossing honors Hachikō, an Akita dog celebrated as a national symbol of unwavering loyalty and devotion. For nearly ten years after his owner, Professor Hidesaburō Ueno, passed away unexpectedly in 1925, the faithful dog returned to Shibuya Station every day at the expected time to wait for him.
I been to Tokyo, Japan in late December 2019 which was my first vacation trip to Japan before the Covid-19 shenanigans happened. Your Chicken Karage Ramen that you ordered looks really delicious and I wanted to go to Tokyo, Japan again especially Ikebukuro, Nakano, Yurakucho, Adachi, Katsushika, Edogawa, Akihabara and Kabukicho. Some local Japanese wore masks because they are allergic to pollen. Turkish Kebab wraps are really good there as well besides Bangkok and Singapore. I love those Gachapon capsule toy machines and they have miniatures for my 1/12 scale action figures.
I swear Harold Baldr just ate there weeks ago
Tokyo is fantastic from food to innovation living in tight spaces and honorific culture.
Its good thing you are there in the winter , enjoying hot ramen and hot food.
Summers can be sweltering hot and humid. 95F average.
I just farted in my hand
They walk on the left in Japan, that's why no one is keeping right. 11:14 – you're looking skinny ASF now Johnny.
4149 grivne what are doing Johnny
I like Ramen but it's so loaded with sodium. Watch your blood pressure Johnny.
I never get used to the Asian slurping when they eat. I'm too European for that😅
I love the Jimny too
i like your old thumbnail style better
Thank you Johnny!❤
Africans selling drugs? What does that mean.
Don’t scrape your chopsticks together in Japan.
I have never heard the phrase "I don't like fried chicken" before in my life……until now.
Japanese people are patient waiting in lines all the time. I don’t see Johnny having that kind of patients if he lived there.
Worse table manners than a pig
Your thumbnail is 🔥
Rent a girlfriend, and try Sumo
If you have time go to Shibamata the place they filmed Tora-san. You will love it.
Johnny, my man, you remarked “Technology” at the availability of hot or cold coffee/drinks from vending machines. I know you must be kidding, right? LOL, C’mon bro, I was stationed in South Korea for two separate one year tours of military duty in (1990 and 1995). They had vending machines with many available kinds of hot or cold canned coffees, including Mr Brown coffee back then! 😂 Also had vending machines that dispensed fresh brewed coffee in paper cups also, right off base.
They also had vending machines with canned beer available for purchase in U.S. military dormitories in South Korea. The drinking age was 21 on U.S. installations overseas at the time, but it wasn’t really enforced for those vending machines (I guess years later they would remove the beer cans from the vending machines for n base. It was as sold right alongside soda/juice cans! Machines. They followed more of the local laws and customs at the time, as the legal age for drinking in South Korea was 18, but some Korean parents would send their kids to liquor store as if they were picking up a loaf of bread to take home! 😂
I enjoy your videos Johnny! Much love and respect! ❤️🤙🏼
“Africans probably selling drugs”?! Had to rewind to make sure I actually heard that. It came across as completely racist. I hope it wasn’t meant to be.
Japan was life changing for me after visiting a couple years ago. I was even considering buying property, but decided not too. The food, culture, and people are amazing.
3 ramens a day keep the health away… lol. Try ichiran, you’d like it.
You didn’t put the name of this place you’re staying at? I might try it for $32 per night right?
Yoyogi Park is beautiful! During the summer, at least in the 90’s when I was stationed there with the U.S. Navy, they would shut down the Main Street that goes through the park and bands and singing groups of all styles would line the street and perform. It was really awesome! I don’t know if they still do that.
🍔🥃🥃
Fashion is pain.
Love this video! Luke’s Lobster is on 43 street in manhattan.
I love Japan, the people , little crime . Only issue is that it’s $$$$
FD, wherever you travel to you always feel compelled to say that "this place looks like that place". What's the point? Tokyo is Tokyo and Taipei is Taipei. No need to point out similarities between places
Jonni, why don't you meet some of those hot Japanese babes on the street, and then choose one for marriage?
Nice to see you in Tokyo it looks really nice there especially with the local
restaurants and the ramen does look very good have an enjoyable time in
Japan Thanks Johnny.🖖
HELLIO JOHNNY
Ride on Johnny boy!
Johnny . Japan is place you keep going to again and again. You can never get enough of it. if we're not correct you can not bath in many onsen baths if you are tattooed.
The other thing is the vendor machines designate hot and cold drinks by the strip on the drink selection. Blue is cold and Red is Hot. Desserts are on another level.. Love it ❤❤
Have lots of fun while your there. check out " The Lab " Sending you much love💕💕 from Jim and Harriet
Awesome video, Johnny! Always wanted to go to Japan, now I want to go even more. Surprising to see some businesses are cash only considering how tech forward Japan is. Do you/anyone know why this is?
Fun video, Johnny! I've spent a lot of time in Japan with my Japanese girlfriend, and you did a great job capturing many of the fun things to do. My girlfriend is a great travel guide, but she often reminds me of my bad manners when I'm around other Japanese. One of those reminders: when I go to a restaurant, it is considered rude to rub those disposable wooden chopsticks together. I just googled it and it looks like she's right: "This act, often done to remove splinters, suggests you believe the restaurant provides cheap or low-quality utensils, insulting the proprietor." I'm amazed by all of the rules, and it's fun to learn that I've done yet another thing "wrong." But whenever I'm guilty of a violation, the people around me are very polite and they seem to just get quiet and bow their heads in shame for me. LOL
Don’t get it. Why don’t you load your cc on your iPhone wallet? Then touch and go? You just need to speak to your bank or go into a Tokyo branch if it’s a intl bank…….
Try the Starbucks in the tall building overlooking shibuya crossing…… trust me….
Japan is awesome it would be great if you spend a month there one day. Maybe explore some islands down south a bit.
You should try Udon with many things on top It is good too. And tempura with beer. It goes good too.
It is considered to be poor etiquette to rub your chopsticks together as it implies you were given poor quality chopsticks.
Japan is very, very bland compared to Ukraine. Highly recommend Singapore instead.
