WTA Miami continues its torrid pace with more great matches. The earlier second-round matches were sensational, and the back half promises even more tense action. Once again, we’ve gathered several matches and listed our best bets for them. The second round features some surprisingly strong matches throughout the card. Let us know if you agree with our picks in the comments.

WTA Miami
Zheng – Stephens: Time 08:30

H2H: 2-0

Qinwen Zheng and Sloane Stephens will play for the third time in their careers. Zheng has won both previous matches, both of which happened in 2022. This will be their first match on a hardcourt. Stephens was once one of tennis’s top players. Ranked as high as third in the World, Stephens is now on the back end of her career. Stephens won this tournament back in 2018. Does she still have another run in her? Qinwen Zheng is an Olympic gold medalist seeking to make her claim at the top of tennis.

Best Bet to Make

The books have Zheng as a 6.5-1 favorite. While Zheng is only 2-2 in 2026, she’s only just getting started and is coming off a solid 2025 season, even if it was a little short. Zheng is 26th in the World, while Stephens isn’t even ranked in the top 715. I’d go with the under on 18.5 games at 2.1 on 10Bet.

That being said, Under 18.5 games is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/the best odds: Under 18.5 games @2.1 @10Bet

Ruse – Keys: Time 09:30

H2H: 0-2

Elena-Gabriela Ruse meets Madison Keys for their third match overall. The last two matches were played in 2025, with both of them at a Major, and both going all three sets. Keys won their first-round match at ’25 WTA Wimbledon and their second-round match at the ’25 WTA Australian Open. This will be their first non-Major match, and it’s a WTA 1000 match. They only play for stakes, and have only played one set that didn’t feature a tiebreaker.

Best Bet to Make

The books have Keys as a 3-1.5 favorite. She’s 7-4 in 2026, Ruse is 9-7 overall. While Ruse is losing to players like Paula Badosa and Rebeka Masarova, Keys is losing to players like Aryna Sabalenka, Victoria Mboko, Jessica Pegula, and Sonay Kartal. One would expect she should win this match just like she won the other two, but I would absolutely take the over on 2.5 sets at 2.6 on Unibet. They have only played one total set that wasn’t a tiebreaker, so why not take a chance on history repeating itself?

That being said, Over 2.5 sets is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/the best odds: Over 2.5 sets @2.6 @Unibet

Gibson – Osaka: Time 08:30

H2H: 0-1

Talia Gibson vs Naomi Osaka is the featured match of the day. Their only other match was a 2025 first-round two-set match at WTA Wimbledon. While the match was largely competitive, Osaka was assertive and dominant throughout. Gibson is 9-1 in her last ten matches, and 20-6 overall. She has one title, but it’s at the ITF level. Even still, she’s been competitive in WTA tournaments as well, making the quarterfinals at WTA Indian Wells.

Best Bet to Make

As good as Gibson has been, I think Osaka is a different class of player. If Osaka is focused and ready to play, this is not a match that should give her enormous troubles. She owned this match the last time they met, and has a real chance of doing so again. You can grab Osaka 2:0 for 2.2 on Bet365, and I would. Don’t bother with total games in three straight matches.

That being said, Osaka winning 2:0 is a value bet for sure.
