First Ever Behind the Scenes! Chief Flight Instructor breaks down the Kobe Helicopter Crash. #crash
In this first behind the scenes clip, Chief Flight Instructor Berichi delivers a detailed, no-nonsense analysis of the tragic Kobe Bryant helicopter crash from inside his podcast studio. Drawing on his aviation expertise, he explains why he fully agrees with the NTSB’s probable cause: VFR flight into IMC leading to spatial disorientation and ultimately controlled flight into terrain. Berichi breaks down how the pilot was operating under Visual Flight Rules in deteriorating weather conditions, despite the aircraft not being certified for IFR flight and without an active IFR flight plan. He discusses the dangers of scud running in low visibility and low ceilings, and how quickly a pilot can lose situational awareness when visual references disappear. This clip is an important, educational look at how critical decision-making, weather judgment, and spatial awareness can mean the difference between a safe flight and a fatal outcome.

Great analysis Doctor Berichi!! Not a lot of people know this, but the crash happened because of extremely low visibility due to fog. Pilot was flying under visual rules, and things went wrong fast. Tragic all around 💔”
People think it was something dramatic, but honestly it was just dangerous weather conditions. The fog that morning was no joke… visibility was basically zero.
Yeah right
What happened with kobe is the pilot said no i cant fly in these conditions, and kobe was like do it or else im such a big shit i do what i want.
Kobe killed himself and his daughter with hubris. He'd be alive if he didn't think he was above driving. I'm glad he's worm food.
Sad reality: even experienced pilots can get disoriented in thick fog. That’s what investigators believe happened here. One of those tragedies that feels preventable in hindsight.
I think it was an Iranian ballistic missile that struck the propeller and caused the helicopter too spiral out of control into the mountain side killing the 35,000 on board
It was Hamas, Hamas was on the helicopter.
Crab people did it.
