From March 18, District Brasserie, Bar & Lounge at Kimpton Shinjuku Tokyo introduces two new dinner concepts: a New York–style steakhouse and a California-inspired lounge.
The NY Steakhouse centers on premium grilled beef, including Chiba beef, Miyazaki wagyu and US Prime cuts, paired with sauces that incorporate Japanese ingredients. Course menus and à la carte options are available, along with The Shinjuku Steakhouse Ritual (¥22,000 per person, minimum two guests), which includes a welcome martini, Caesar salad, US Prime T-bone, a choice of sides and unlimited fries. A five-course (¥13,500) and six-course (¥17,000) menu are also offered.
For a more exclusive experience, the reservation-only “Butcher’s Table” (from ¥50,000 per person, minimum four guests) features a chef-led, bespoke dinner for one group per day.
Next door, the California Lounge brings West Coast energy to Shinjuku with jumbo shrimp “shots” with wasabi aioli, lobster rolls, beef tongue katsu sandwiches and shareable small plates, alongside a strong selection of California wines.
Reservations are available via TableCheck.
