Nagano prefecture is known for some of the best soba noodles. The small town of Nojiri is not only home to some of the most scenic footage that I have ever captured but a life changing soba experience at a little restaurant called Inaho.

    Just glorious, Lane. Off exploring the little towns and byways of Japan in October/November. Autumn colour cascading down, crisp air, great food to be found at every turn. Mind you, on my recent trip I did find myself hankering for salads, fruits, and vegetables. A quick trip to the local CoOp supermarket usually fixed this, but vegies weren't a big part of restaurant fare.

    But looking ahead. Did you and Racheal get to Karuizawa? You know, hill-station resort for Tokyo's super rich with architect designed weekenders and every second car a Maserati. I even managed to find a place that did a better than average Melbourne Magic coffee.
