This video is really advice for people who are coming for the second or third trip to japan. If it is your first time please take one. Its worth the experience. Imagine doing a 12 hour flight and then having to take another plane which you already have to take a train to get to. Just bad advice
We really need more short-ish flights you could just take a cleaner mode of transport for, the world isn't fucked enough yet! Idk I feel riding a shinkansen is worth the experience as well coming from a place where those aren't really a thing. I know those airplanes are going anyway but surely those are a whole lot worse for the environment than a damn train
Thinking about the environment this is really bad advice. Riding the Shinkansen is so convenient and such a great experience, please take the train instead of the airplane. If not for the environment, then do it for your own special experience. Oh and please stop promoting flights over train rides, especially if there such a good mode pf transportation such as in Japan.

Far better to get the Shinkansen! Quicker than going to the airport, doing all the airport security and then doing the same at the other end
Turning a two hour train ride into a 5 hour headache. Terrible “advice”
The train is so much faster and way less delays lol
