WALKING TOUR JAPAN IN OTARU | Sunlit Winter Walk to Shukutsu Fishing Port
On December 31, 2025, I walked along the coast below the historic Nishingoten and headed toward Shukutsu Fishing Port in Otaru, Hokkaido.
Although the wind was strong, the sunlight sparkled on the winter sea.
In summer, this area is busy with sightseeing boats, but in winter it becomes quiet and peaceful.
Between thick clouds, patches of blue sky appeared, wrapping Shukutsu in soft winter light.
Enjoy a relaxing winter walking tour of snowy Otaru with natural sounds.
