Miyajima, Hiroshima.

I took this photo from Itsukushima Shrine on a cloudy day, and I liked how the famous torii gate appears quietly between the buildings rather than dominating the whole frame. The weather muted the colors of the sea and mountains, which made the vermilion shrine structures stand out even more. For me, that contrast is part of what makes Miyajima so memorable — it feels both grand and calm at the same time.
