A short ferry ride from Ojika, Nozaki Island is home to Nokubi Church – a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In addition to this impressive building, it is known for its steep mountains, beautiful beach and diverse range of flora and fauna.
Although the island doesn’t have any current human inhabitants, it is home to a range of animals from Japanese Wood Pigeons, rare species of butterfly and over 400 wild Japanese deer.
