Here’s a walk through some of Tokyo’s early pink sakura, filmed on 3/4/26. I visited Oyoko River, Ueno Park, and the Kiba Sakura displays and night illuminations. The longest part of the video is along the river, where the blossoms were already coming in during the first week of March. It was a super windy day, so there’s a lot of movement in the trees, but I think that also adds to the atmosphere.
