FRESH off Gilas Pilipinas duties, Dwight Ramos immediately made an impact as Levanga Hokkaido escaped with a 100-98 win over Kiefer Ravena and the Yokohama B-Corsairs in the Japan B.League on Saturday.

The Gilas guard finished with 16 points, three assists, and one rebound, outdueling Ravena, who tallied 19 markers and three dimes in the loss.

The victory pushed Hokkaido into a three-way tie for second place in the East at 28-12 with the Chiba Jets and Alvark Tokyo, while Yokohama slipped to 15-25.

QMB solid for Chiba, other Pinoy imports fall

Chiba, for its part, sent the Osaka Evessa to a sixth straight defeat with a 90-82 win, snapping its own two-game slide in the process.

Quentin Millora-Brown had nine points and three rebounds for Osaka, while Ray Parks Jr. struggled with an off night, going scoreless with three rebounds and two assists.

Meanwhile, Francis Lopez delivered his best performance of the season with 16 points, eight rebounds, and three assists, but the Fighting Eagles Nagoya still fell short against the San-en NeoPhoenix, 95-91.

Elsewhere, Kai Sotto and AJ Edu also absorbed losses in their respective games.

Sotto posted 10 points, six rebounds, and four assists, but the Koshigaya Alphas bowed to the Hiroshima Dragonflies, 92-89.

Edu, meanwhile, had six points and five rebounds as the Gunma Crane Thunders fell to the Kyoto Hannaryz.
