  1. Skied there last winter. Blast on a powder day as it was empty. You can easily ski this resort if you are staying in Otaru as the city bus drops you off at the base. I should also note, this is actually a golf course in the summer. The lodge at the top is actually the club house for the golf course. Kiroro has a shuttle bus that picks up at several local hotels. You should have taken it, but you have to book the day before. I stayed at the Grand Park at the shopping mall. Nice place and cheap. Plus, there is a grocery store at the mall and if you go around 7pm, that's when they start marking down all the sushi to be like 75% off. Nice lunch or breakfast in the morning.

  2. Hi! I was at the same hotel, Otaru Classe, last week. From my hotel window, I saw reindeers running across the ski resort. It was so beautiful.

  3. The lifts named after colours is funny. Purple is great. Green isn't a green course, fun though. Easy to get to on the bus.
