  1. Naysu! Very informative and helpful guide that I instantly subscribed and saved your video. Thanks!
We're planning on going back to Japan in the first week of January to visit Nagano & Fujisan. Hope to see more guides in the future.
    Keep it up!

  2. Your video is full of excellent suggestions for getting to Mt. Fuji, unfortunately the website for the express bus is only in Japanese and it requires the users to download a local app, to pay by credit card. Users must have a local phone number to register with the app. So, as a visitor from America, I cannot buy the express bus tickets online.

  3. We are planning to do Mt. Fuji after exiting a cruise ship. Is there anywhere where we could store luggage for the day at the cruise port or nearby or even at the train station and then take the train or bus to Mt. Fuji?

  4. Happy New Year 2026, everyone.

In Japan, there is an old saying:

“If you see Mt. Fuji in your first dream of the year, you will be blessed with good fortune.”

I hope that Mt. Fuji appears in your dreams tonight,

and that 2026 will be a wonderful year for you.

    Thank you always for watching.

This year as well, I’ll continue creating videos that spark your curiosity

and help you travel smoothly and enjoyably throughout Japan.

  5. Thank you for your informative video, it helps me, but I'm still overwhelm. I'm; from Vancouver Canada and we only have 3 Metro lines and I usually drive to get to places. Anyway, my husband and I are going to Japan on March 20 to April 3. We staying in 4 different hotels. We booked 1 night stay in Kawaguchiko on March 28 then 2 nights in Hakone, walking distance from Gora station. I did not find out until later that these two places are far from each other. Can you help us navigate our way from Tokyo to Kawaguchiko then to Hakone, and back to Tokyo. On March 28, we are leaving from Shibuya, on March 31, we are staying in Tokyo station. Thank you very much Hiro

  6. Hi Hiro, thank you for this video. I need to rewatch it because the train lines are a bit complicated for me. 😅 I would like to visit Shiraito Falls, Chureito Pagoda, Oishi Park, Honcho Street, take a round trip to the 5th Station, and visit Lake Yamanaka. I think one night (two days) would be sufficient 🙄. Should I take a taxi to Shiraito Falls? I would be grateful if you could suggest an itinerary for my trip.🙇

  7. Konichiwa Hiro,
Thank you for making wonderful informative videos. We love Japan so much that we'd decided to return this April for a two-week trip. This time, we'll begin our journey in Osaka. In addition to Osaka, we'd like to visit Himeji, Kobe, Uji, Nara, and Nachi Falls. After that, we plan to go to Hakone, Kawaguchiko for views of Mt. Fuji, then to Kamakura & Enoshima Island, and finally to Tokyo. We'd like to make Kawaguchiko for a one-day trip, and Kamakura with Enoshima Island another one-day trip. Could you help us plan our travel route? In your opinion, should we purchase a 7-day JR pass? If so, could you suggest the best time to use it? Arigato gozaimasu.

  8. Hi Hiro! Wanted to let you know this is the best video on navigating Mt Fuji!! That said, I feel I need your insights on which train pass will make the most sense for my husband & I. We will take up on your offer on reviewing our itinerary. So here it is :
    1) Mar 12: arriving in Osaka (ITM) airport at 4:00pm. We would like to take the regional train from the airport to our hotel (Courtyard Marriott Shin-Osaka). Hotel is connected with Shin-Osaka station.
    2) Mar 13: Sight-seeing around Osaka and visit Kobe for 4 hours for Kobe beef lunch/dinner.
    3) Mar 14: leave Osaka for Kawaguchiko. We would like leave Osaka around 10-11am and hope to take shingansen to Mishima. From there, I believe we need to take a bus to Kawaguchiko Station. We’re hoping to get to our hotel (located near Kawaguchiko lake) by 2-3pm. We plan to do some sight-seeing before having dinner at hotel around 6-7pm.
    4) Mar 15 7am-12noon. Do typical sight seeing like visiting the Chureito Pagoda, Mt Fuji Dream Bridge, Mt Fuji Ropeway, etc ..
We’ll need leave Kawaguchiko to catch our 9:25pm international flight at Narita airport but would like to make a quick stop at Shinjuku station for a nice early dinner (like 4pm). If not possible, we can go directly to the airport

I know our itinerary is very ambitious but would you please advise which train pass we should get for our 4 days in Japan? Btw, before coming to Osaka, we’ll be spending 4 days/3 nights in Okinawa.

Thank you in advance for your help! Appreciate it!

    Yvonne
