Following the full revival of Okinawa Actors School in 2023, its first female group to debut post-revival, B.Rox, have officially stepped into the spotlight with their digital single ‘Greedy Girls’.
Marking their debut under Sony Music’s , the Okinawa-based dance and vocal trio — Hikaru (20), Rian (18), and Rune (16) — bring explosive charisma and powerhouse vocals to the forefront. Despite their average age of just 18, the group have already built a reputation as key figures within the newly revived Okinawa Actors School, where they are also members of B.B.WAVES.
Before their official debut, B.Rox had already been turning heads. The trio held their first solo live concert in Naha City in summer 2024 and performed at the Okinawa Actors School Full Revival Festival at Nippon Budokan in March 2025, as well as at MAX’s 30th anniversary concert at the Okinawa Convention Center.
Produced by T.O.M — known for his work and remixes with Tokimeki Records, Hana Hope, and m-flo — ‘Greedy Girls’ is a hip-hop soul cut that refreshes classic R&B for today’s generation. The track’s lyrics were penned by TSUGUMI of SOULHEAD, adding a layer of 2000s-era pedigree to the group’s modern, tough-luxe sound.
“We believe B.Rox is a group where completely different personalities — our looks, voices, and characters — overlap to create exciting performances. ‘Greedy Girls’ feels like our dreams have been turned directly into a song. It expresses our determination to move forward greedily, no matter what anyone says — because we can’t stop anymore. We’re working hard to become a group that people simply think is ‘cool,’ so we truly appreciate your support,” said Hikaru.
Rather than following a K-pop template, B.Rox are carving out a lane inspired by a modern-day TLC-type group: strong, individualistic, vocally driven, and globally resonant.
Carrying the slogan “From Okinawa to the world,” the trio have already taken their first international steps with a promotional visit to the Philippines — their first overseas destination. During their Manila trip, they appeared as special guests at PASSIONISM Volume 2.0, organised by LIV Dance Academy, performing alongside fellow Okinawa Actors School group E’sekai in what became a successful first overseas showcase.
