The trash there is basically just put out so the garbage truck can grab it easily in the morning, it’s not abandoned or anything. By the next day, it’s all gone. The rules may vary by country, but in Japan people are required to put their trash in bags and leave it at a designated collection spot.

From my experience, Osaka is a really nice city. I always visit mall and castle much in vacation. The city is fresh and modern.

Diggy asked for comments about scripted/ planned vs off the cuff, my wife and I have been traveling for about five years and we of course plan to see specific sites along the way, as an example Nara National Park, we stayed in Nara, near the park, but it was what happens along the way that is so endearing about travel ( it’s the journey not the destination) the area around the park had little restaurants and shops, and just an unexpected vibe. btw there is a good Thai restaurant there if you’re getting home sick, anyway the Osaka video imo represents the best of the travel experience.
