We wandered through the serene Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, admired the glowing pillars of Kimono Forrest and walked beneath thousands of Torri gates at Fushimi Inari Taisha, where we also tried local street food. Golden hour led us to Hōkan-ji Temple and a stunning sunset at Kiyomizu-dera to perfectly end the day.
No Kyoto trip is complete without café hopping. We visited the instagrammable %Arabica Kyoto, Miffy Sakura Kitchen, Maccha house for the delicious matcha tiramisu and Gokago for their traditional matcha latte take.
