Creative agency Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo has announced the third edition of its cultural platform “THE WEEKEND,” taking place March 6–7, 2026, at its Tokyo office.

Launched as a space where fashion, music, art, and community intersect, THE WEEKEND presents exhibitions and programming focused on culture. Previous editions included a 100+ piece NIKE Vintage Watch exhibition and a RUNNING CULTURE showcase in collaboration with Amsterdam’s Patta running team.

The third edition focuses on “LOCAL CREW – Items for the People Behind the Music,” presenting more than 150 original “Local Crew” items from the 1990s–2000s. The items include T-shirts, staff passes, stickers, and tour ephemera that were not commercially released and were distributed to backstage staff and production teams supporting artists on tour.

Featured artists include AC/DC, Aerosmith, Alicia Keys, Backstreet Boys, Beck, Beyoncé, Björk, Beastie Boys, Britney Spears, Grateful Dead, Green Day, Incubus, Janet Jackson, Jay-Z, KISS, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Metallica, Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, No Doubt, Nirvana, Oasis, Pearl Jam, Pharrell Williams, Public Enemy, Rage Against the Machine, Run-D.M.C., Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sade, The Rolling Stones, TLC, Weezer and more.
