Hokkaido Day 4 – Biei & Furano (Feb 3, 2026)
Snowy day trip to Biei and Furano 🤍 First stop was Shikisai no Oka in Biei, a snow park where some rode snowmobiles while Glen and I just enjoyed the snow and had yummy ramen 🍜❄️
Next was the Lonely Christmas Tree in Biei – a single tree (spruce tree) standing alone in a wide field, simple but very charming.
Then we visited Shirahige Waterfall, also called the White Beard Falls because it looks like a white beard flowing down. The water partly freezes and the blue color is just stunning 💙
After that was the famous Blue Pond, known from Apple wallpapers – still beautiful even in winter.
Last stop was Ningle Terrace in Furano, a cozy little village of wooden shops in the forest, especially magical at night ✨🌲
We actually spent more time on the bus than at the tour stops. Parang umutot ka lang, paalis na naman 😂 But honestly, the place was super beautiful but bitin
We arrived back in Susukino past 11pm and checked if Ramen Alley was still open. Good thing we managed to find seats! I ordered the popular Butter Corn Ramen, while Glen tried the Sea and Earth miso ramen. Ended the day tired, full, and very satisfied
