
Kyoto Century Hotel has renovated some of its guest rooms, restaurant, and public spaces and held a grand reopening on March 1.
At the restaurant “All Day Dining La Jyho,” a new year-round buffet called “THE THEATER BUFFET” has been introduced. In the performance corner, meat dishes are prepared using three methods—grill, carving, and teppan (iron plate)—with the menu changing every 30 minutes, including dishes made with Japanese wagyu beef. The offerings include wagyu roast beef, roasted duck breast, wagyu steak, and seared wagyu beef sushi. There is also a drink bar where guests can create original tea mocktails, and an ice cream corner with 20 types of ice cream and 20 types of condiments. In addition, at the newly established “La Jyho Terrace” area facing the garden, course meals and à la carte dishes with a focus on French cuisine are served.
Serving times are divided into three 90-minute slots for lunch, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and three 100-minute slots for dinner, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:10 p.m. Prices start from 6,500 yen for adults, from 4,000 yen for children aged 7 to 12, and are free for children aged 6 and under. Tax and service charge are included.
