Urizun refers to a time around February and March of the lunar calendar in Okinawa, which fall on March and April of this year’s calendar. With the temperature neither too high nor too low, the season evokes a strong sense of comfort. There are even bars and liquor that bear the name of this pleasant time.
Starting March 20, at Bios no Oka a.k.a. Bios on the Hill celebrate the comfortable season at Urizun no Hanamichi, an orchid flower festival.
Stunning multicolor blooms will adorn the path from the entrance all the way to the Ayafuniba boat ride boarding point.
Urizun and orchid flower time at Bios on the Hill make it a great time to visit. Don’t miss out!
