Nippon-Ham Fighters manager Tsuyoshi Shinjo updated his Instagram on the 26th, revealing his impressions of spring training.

Manager Shinjo began his post by declaring, “This is the best training camp we’ve ever had,” and continued, “This year is not just a season where we want to win, but a season where we have to win,” once again declaring that they are aiming for the top this season.

On the 24th, the Fighters kicked off their training camp in Nago, Okinawa, and wrote, “All The Fighters are facing the same direction. I honestly feel that way at this training camp. I look forward to seeing everyone at ESCON soon.” He concluded by saying, “Hokkaido looks cold.” The photo he posted shows a container with an illustration of Manager Shinjo filled with cookies shaped like balls and bats.

In response to this post, many fans were excited about Shinjo’s version of the cookies, with comments such as, “I’ll be waiting in Hokkaido with nothing but anticipation! The cookie tin is so cute,” “I’ll see him being lifted up in celebration,” “It would be a shame to eat them,” and “These cookies are so cute, can you buy them at Ace Combat?”
