Where to watch Tokyo Marathon 2026: TV channel, live stream
There won’t be a traditional TV broadcast of the Tokyo Marathon in North America, but those looking to follow along can turn to live stream coverage.

Tokyo Marathon 2026 start time
The Tokyo Marathon will begin on the morning of Sunday, March 1, local time in Japan. With the time difference, that means the race will be on Saturday evening in the Eastern time zone.

Tokyo Marathon 2026 prize money, purse for winner
The 2026 Tokyo Marathon purse is expected to be about $750,000 total, with prize money and World Record Bonuses combined.
Prize money will be awarded to a handful of winners with the first place men’s and women’s marathon runners taking home about $80,000 each.
