
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Singapore and Japan as part of his foreign outreach to attract investments to the state. During the tour, he secured investment commitments worth ₹2.5 lakh crore across multiple sectors, strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s push to position itself as a major global investment destination.
The Chief Minister also experienced Japan’s advanced transport technology by riding a maglev train, which travels at speeds of up to 500 km/h while levitating above the track. The visit focused on strengthening economic cooperation, inviting investors, and showcasing Uttar Pradesh’s infrastructure and industrial potential.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya travelled to Germany to promote investment opportunities and bilateral engagement. He was also scheduled to visit the United Kingdom, but the visit was cancelled after he did not receive the required visa clearance. He is now expected to return after completing his Germany engagements.
