The Association of Canadian Travel Agencies and Travel Advisors (ACTA) announced it will convene in Japan for the 2026 International Destination Conference.

The event is in partnership with the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) and hosted in Yokohama, Japan from November 29 to December 4.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Japan National Tourism Organization,” said Suzanne Acton-Gervais, President, АСТА.

“Сanadians are travelling further and staying longer, with strong renewed interest in Asia. Hosting in Japan provides our members with a valuable opportunity to deepen their destination knowledge.”

Registration is open with the fee starting at C$799 for CTC and CTM members, not including airfare.

It is inclusive of accommodations, transfers and food and beverage.

ACTA is working with airlines and will announce discounted conference rates soon.

“Canada continues to be a strong market for Japan tourism and as we come off another record-breaking year.”

Travel advisors selected will be notified next month with priority for CTC or CTM holders.
