China’s travel product traffic increased 83% year-on-year following Japan’s most popular destination
Italy/Spain’s increase…Europe’s Interest Expands

Which destination has the most reservations made by Korean tourists during the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday.
Travel platform Klook analyzed overseas travel trends ahead of the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday.
According to Kluck data, traffic for overseas travel products this Lunar New Year holiday is up about 20% compared to the previous year’s Lunar New Year holiday. Japan had the highest level of interest (traffic) by country, followed by Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, and Singapore.
In particular, traffic for travel products to China increased by 83% compared to the Lunar New Year holiday last year, marking the largest increase. It then increased in the order of Italy (79%), Spain (51%), Japan (41%) and Vietnam (35%), confirming the trend of expanding travel interest to China and some European regions amid Japan’s steady popularity.
By product category, hotel product traffic increased by 101% year-on-year, showing the largest growth. Tour products increased by 31% and transportation products increased by 11%, and interest in Klook Hotel products also expanded, along with a steady interest in tours and transportation products.

As detailed popular products, theme park products such as ▲ Universal Studios Japan and Hollywood ▲ Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, LA, and Paris Disneyland ▲ Vietnam’s Vinwonders Nha Trang (Nha Trang) and major transportation products such as ▲ Japan’s Shinkansen ▲ European Railway Pass received high attention.
In addition, ▲Fujisan Day Tour ▲ Thailand’s Similan Islands Tour ▲ Vietnam’s Nha Trang (Nha Trang) Panrang Desert Sunrise & Morning & Daily Tour ▲ Barcelona Gaudi Anti-Japanese Tour ▲ Vatican Anti-Japanese Tour in Rome were also ranked in the top.
Klook is holding a promotion for “Neighborhood Travel Sale” for Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Singapore until the 28th to celebrate the Lunar New Year holiday.
