Nihon Falcom has announced that Kyoto Xanadu is in development for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, news that was shared in this week’s Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase presentation.
Set in an alternate reality where Kyoto is the capital of Japan, you will be challenged to take on the monsters emerging from a mysterious giant labyrinth known as Xanadu.
Discovered beneath a high school, you play as a student and must deepen your bonds with people during your daily life in Kyoto city before heading into Xanadu to grow through the battles that you must overcome.
Kyoto Xanadu will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch in Summer 2026.
