Tokyo | A second Australian has died in a skiing incident in Japan in less than a week, authorities said on Wednesday, following a series of accidents involving foreign visitors during the peak winter season.
Japanese media reported that a 27-year-old Australian man, Michael Jeffrey Hurst, died after skiing off-course in the back country between the Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort and Niseko Annupuri International Ski Resort in Hokkaido in northern Japan.
