We were there last year, late february, and had that exact weather and blossom. Beautifull place. Unfortunately, my wife had her smartphone stollen at the train station, just before leaving… She was applying the stamp on her notebook, put her smartphone aside… and never saw it again. I don't know if this place is known for such things… Was our last day in Japan this year, it ruined this day, and sadly put a darker tone to this trip… . Well overall, it has been our only bad experience in Japan after 3 trips.
