Actually there childrenβs books that have tagalog and english. It may not be too conversational but it can help you understand the language a bit better or simpler. I think itβs Adarna books. The books mostly have lessons about various things. π

For the snacks, better go to the grocery. You can get dried mangoes there as well. But for unique Filipino items, Kultura is the best place to be. Bit pricey but you are paying for the quality π

You need to try Crisostomo's next hehe! It's basically the original more traditional homestyle version of Manam. More rustic style cooking, and more straight up Filipino flavors, really reminds you of a filipino mother's cooking.
