Top ranked Americans Taylor Fritz, Jessica Pegula, Amanda Anisimova, Madison Keys, and Ben Shelton also booked their tickets to the next round, as did world No. 2 Iga Swiatek and Italian fifth-seed Lorenzo Musetti.
