It's crazy how much stuff you can accumulate in such a small place. Me and my bf lives above a garage once when we were really poor and it was so small, just a studio space that fit our bed and a dining room table and his pc desk. But when we moved we were like woah cuz we accumlated so much, mainly a lot of junk. One day when I have a home, I definitely want to live a more minimalistic lifestyle lol. Only have what I absolutely need and use everyday type vibe.
The dust been crazy because you do and hang laundry. Took me while to discover the sauce of the dust in my apartment- 4 rooms (me, a woman who lives alone for 5 years have insane dust, no pets or boyfriends, or anyone else who makes the spot dirty, 4 room apartment). Turns out its fiber particles from dry hanging wet clothes to dry is what causes all the dust.
It looks wonderful already 😊 can’t wait to see you make it yours.

YouTube recommended that I watch this video. I'm glad that I did. It reminded me of why I left Tokyo and moved 2 hours south. The apartment is great but I could not stand another day living in a big city

In Australia,you also have to call to have the seperate utility companies to get them turned on. And we also have to mark down and photograph any damage within a week of getting the keys. And it is so important to do so, because when you leave, the real estate agent will pick out every single mark / scratch to make you pay for painting
idk the dimensions might be totally wrong. But. how about desk where the TV is, and tv at the desk spot, and couch starts where the desk ends. if there's nay walking space left.

Nice new apartment! You can get a wood filler pencil to fill in the scratch from moving the sofa. They work really well and most likely the scratch will not be noticeable.i am looking hard at coming to Japan for the first time really soon!

FYI, there are free apps that let you walk around your apartment with your phone camera and, from the video, it creates a floor plan of your apartment with all the dimensions.
Your place looks really nice! Great that you will have a separate bedroom and closets! The separate toilet always throws me because it’s a distance from the rest of the bathroom. Is there a sink on top of the toilet to wash your hands?
