A morning Walking Tour along the City Beach in Okinawa, Japan

Today I’m taking you on a morning walk along an urban beach in Chatan, in the heart of Okinawa, Japan.
Lined with cafés and small residences, this beach sits right next to the famous “American Village” (it’s impossible to visit one without seeing the other).
This unique place blends city life and the sea in a tropical atmosphere, with walkways, soft sand, and a lively waterfront.
The walk follows the Chatan coastline from Araha Beach to the Futenma River, about 3.5 km of seaside path connecting the beach, seawall, and urban area.
