The 35th Japan National Lacrosse Championships will take place on Sunday (1 February) morning (GMT) as the country’s best men’s and women’s club teams take on its best men’s and women’s university teams in a battle to be crowned the undisputed best teams in Japan.
In the women’s competition, National Club Champion Mistral will play National Collegiate Champion Kwansei University with Kawasaki Falcons (National Club Champion) playing Waseda University (National Collegiate Champion) in the men’s tournament.
For only the second time, both matches in the Championships, taking place at the MUFG Stadium in Tokyo, will feature English commentary after a hugely successful first run in 2025.
To ensure as many lacrosse fans around the world can watch the two matches, the Japan Lacrosse Association has also made the live stream and the entire Japan National Lacrosse Championships archive completely free of charge.
