EQT launches tender offer to take Japanese firm Mamezo private

Private equity firm EQT has announced a tender offer valued at approximately USD 371 million to acquire and privatise Mamezo, a Japan-based IT services and consulting company focused on enterprise system modernisation and AI adoption. The offer will be made by BPEA EQT Mid-Market Growth Partnership at a price of JPY 3,551 per share for all outstanding shares of Mamezo, which is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Completion of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory and closing conditions.
