Nika Prevc (SLO) completed a perfect weekend in Sapporo, Japan, with a second successive victory. The current World Cup leader equalled Maren Lundby’s (NOR) hill record of 139.5m from 2020 in the first round, while the final round was cancelled due to weather conditions.
Prevc scored 134.5 points to finish 5.3 points clear of Abigail Strate (CAN), who also finished second on Saturday. Heidi Dyhre Traaserud (NOR) rounded out the podium in third with a jump of 135m and 124.6 points.
“I’ve never seen as much snow as today”, Prevc said, referring to the weather conditions in Japan. “I’m happy I was able to do one good jump and won.”
