  1. Love it! Local is the best and sometimes you have to travel to get it! Awesome video EJ! Thanks for sharing, the food looked great πŸ‘πŸ» 😊

  3. ya know thats good to know about b1 helping fatigue im happy im learning more thanks to you m8, more knowledge the better, that squid with rice in it looks very good tender too i know i want that

  4. oh i see something in with the popcorn caused the meltdown no need to be sorry m8 it's all good it happened to me every now n then too ohh the microwave might have been a higher wattage than the usual for that kind of popcorn, your doing awesome

  5. Hello Mr. Experience Japan. I have never seen you fly before, Not me no never, To chicken. I'm so afraid of Heights. That's cool that there's a full kitchen in a convience store, The food looked tasty though. What was your favorite? Enquiry Minds wanna know? Thank you.πŸ™πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸŒΉ.

  6. When cooking microwave popcorn it only takes 1 minute and 30 seconds to cook. Only extend the time if required by 30 second intervals.

  7. Bro is enjoying life, travelling and trying all the delicious foods around Japan. Must be very nice πŸ˜…
Edit: I would like to suggest one thing, my friend. It's a little bit more of work, but it would make watching your video a way better experience for us westerners: when you bring a japanese food, like "Yakitori", for example, you make a little disclaimer, like this: "* Yakitori is a popular chicken skewer" etc etc.
Thank you very much, your videos are amazing!

  8. Convenience store food/snacks are really great on a lazy day. My wife says burnt popcorn is the only way to eat it. You might try a shorter time (2 minutes 45 seconds). I wish our stores did hot cooking like the stores there. The yakitori bento looked really good. Thank you for showing us another great area of Japan.

  9. I was waiting to hear the alarm🚨 go off the moment you opened the microwave doorπŸ˜‚.
As always, thank you for the video!πŸ™πŸ»

  10. Another great video. Here in the United States thick fries are called steak fries. When I make popcorn here at home, I have to take the popcorn out of the microwave 35 seconds sooner than recommended or it will burn. The food in this video looks so very delicious. See you on the next video. Cheers!

  11. What a fun video with unique conbini items from Hokkaido πŸ™‚, thank you very much ! I am so impressed by the yakitori grilling station and the tasty looking yakitori. The squid looks a bit strange to me (the color is like liver, which is something I dont like at all), but I think the taste will be great.

The ramen confuse me: they are called wasabi ramen, but then on the package, they show horse radish. Which is not the same, at least not in Switzerland. Here, what is called "wasabi" is mostly grated horse radish with green food coloring.

  12. You have to count the pope. Burnt popcorn smells very bad, did anyone complain?

  13. I'm old and remember the time before microwaves had a 'popcorn' button. I still watch it like a hawk, but it's never given me a bag looking like Freddy Krueger. I can taste that nuked corn.

  14. The US is of course far bigger than Japan, and naturally we have regional specialties. Still, if you go into a supermarket nowadays, I don't think you'd see much variation by geographic area, especially with packaged goods. Separately, it's interesting that Hokkaido dairy became such a big deal, given that milk products have not historically been important in the Japanese diet. But perhaps the Japanese have become more lactose tolerant.

  15. that popcorn wasn't just burnt it was turning into charcoal and starting to become a campfire lol, thxs for the vid

  16. I've never heard of a 100% malt beer before. But that sounds amazing! Especially from Kirin!
Everything sounded really tasty and looked really good, even the squid! I've only seen that in stalls, packaged sounded skeptical but you made it sound good
And like everyone has said, we've all done that to popcorn more times than we'd like to admit, it's all good! 😊
