On the morning of December 31, 2025, I walked through the snowy district of Shioya in Otaru.
This video captures the journey from the quiet residential streets to the stormy Shioya coast. You can see the peaceful snowy townscape as I weave through the local neighborhood, eventually reaching the powerful, rough winter sea.
While I wanted to capture the crisp sound of footsteps in the snow, the strong winter wind was quite dominant that day. I hope you enjoy the raw and authentic atmosphere of Otaru on the last day of the year.
