The journey began in Okayama with a stay in a traditional Japanese townhouse. One of the highlights was a visit to Korakuen Garden, one of Japan’s three great gardens, followed by a walk through Okayama Castle, overlooking the Asahi River.

Later, a quiet boat ride on the river offered reflective moments on the water, including a swan pedal boat experience right in front of the castle.

The next day brought a visit to Kurashiki, often called the Venice of Japan. Its old town is lined with historic houses, narrow canals, and charming shops, while traditional boats move slowly along the waterways, creating a timeless atmosphere.

Carefully framed scenes capture river views, castle architecture, and old streets, offering a calm and immersive visual journey through these classic Japanese towns.
