Bushin was able to take 9th at Evo Japan 2025, 2nd at ARCREVO in Senzan 2025, 1st at A.C.E. 2025 and 3rd at FightClub Championship 6 Nansha at Guilty Gear Strive tournaments using Slayer and Leo. In general, Bushin is seen as one of the top players at Guilty Gear Strive in the Japan region.
As it turns out, Bushin recently released a new tier list for the game, likely as the final tier list before the big patch. Characters have been divided up into six different tier categories.
Happy Chaos is said to be the undisputed best character in Guilty Gear Strive right now. However, Bushin lists him in the “Disaster” tier category, indicating that Happy Chaos is strong due to some troublesome design decisions.
Millia, Asuka, A.B.A and Sin are also said to be very strong at the moment. It’s particularly interesting to see A.B.A this high as she was previously just seen as a counter pick choice.
Combatants like Venom, Dizzy, Lucy, Nagoriyuki, Testament and Jack-O are noted to be really struggling right now as they’ve been positioned at the very bottom of the list. It’s interesting to note that only Nagoriyuki of this bunch isn’t a DLC fighter.
In general, the Season 4 DLC characters apparently feel very weak at the moment. Only Unika managed to escape getting positioned in the lowest tier group, but only just barely.
