TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a 21-year-old man for allegedly committing indecent acts with a high school girl in Koto Ward last year, reports the Sankei Shimbun (Jan. 7).
At around 1:00 p.m. on November 20, Chiharu Hori allegedly groped the girl after pulling her onto the grounds of an apartment building.
Upon his arrest on suspicion of non-consensual indecent assault, Hori, who lives in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, admitted to the charges. “I wanted to experience the soft touch of her body,” he said.

Before the incident, Hori spotted the girl on her way home from a railway station. He is believed to have followed her for approximately 600 meters before embracing her from behind.
As the incident unfolded, the girl resisted the attack by elbowing Hori, causing him to flee. The incident came to light when her mother consulted with police.
Hori’s involvement emerged through an investigation that used security camera footage and other means.
