The Mizuno M.Craft City Series reconnects with the company’s heritage of precise engineering, pure feedback, and timeless
craftsmanship. Our putter expert takes a closer look…

Mizuno are known for manufacturing quality golf equipment made from the finest materials and undergoing an intense building process. There are only a handful of brands muttered in the same regard, but they don’t always come into question when discussing the best putters in the game.

We’ve all heard the saying, “Nothing feels like a Mizuno”, and while that rings true for the M-13 and M-15 irons, is it the case for the new M.Craft City Series putters?

Mizuno’s milled putter range has been extended with the introduction of the M.Craft City Series – four distinct models inspired by the spirit and character of a quartet of Japan’s most iconic cities: Kyoto, Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo.

A look at every model in the Mizuno M.Craft City Series

Mizuno launched the M.Craft X putters, which included three designs that could be fully customized, at the beginning of 2025. Fast forward 12 months, and they have ditched the full customization in favor of a bold new chapter in design philosophy.

Moving away from the tone set by the M.Craft, OMOI, and M.Craft X putters, Mizuno are on a mission to reconnect with their heritage of precise engineering, pure feedback, and timeless craftmanship.

What can you expect from the Mizuno M.Craft City Series putters?

Mizuno have spoken about four guiding principles on which they are building – heritage, individuality, innovation, and foundation – and the City Series embodies that new creative direction.

Each of the four models represents those guiding principles, and can be easily distinguished from one another because each putter has been designed to honor a different aspect of Mizuno’s identity.

Every putter has been forged in Japan from Pure Select 1025E Mild Carbon Steel, chosen because of its impressive malleability and incredible feedback. (There’s a reason Mizuno also use it in their top-level irons.)

The City Series is Mizuno’s most refined M.Craft line to date. From the advanced sound analysis to the deep-milling precision and copper-infused forging, they have left no stone unturned in this range.

To create the softest, most responsive feel yet, Mizuno have also incorporated a copper underlay in each putter head, as well as a newly-refined deep face milling pattern that helps produce a smoother roll and purer acoustic feedback at impact.

To promote confidence and consistency at address, Mizuno have added a subtle top-edge alignment aid across all four models for a minimalistic guide that blends seamlessly into each putter head.

Grey Ion and Nickel finish of the Mizuno M.Craft City Series putters

The putters are available in two premium finishes – Grey Ion or Nickel – each chosen to complement the head shape and provide a refined, durable aesthetic that matches Mizuno’s meticulous standards.

Mizuno say the City Series “represents more than an evolution”.

“It is a return to Mizuno’s roots in sound-tuned engineering and forged precision,” they add. “Each head is shaped, weighted, and milled in Japan to create a true sensory connection between player, putter, and performance.

“Together, the Kyoto, Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo models mark a new era of Mizuno craftsmanship, built on the belief that the truest measure of feel is not only what you sense through your hands, but what you hear in the strike.”

Which Mizuno M.Craft City Series putter will you choose? Mizuno M.Craft City Series Kyoto putter Mizuno M.Craft City Series Kyoto putter

Price: $300.00 / £299.00

The Kyoto captures the traditional essence of the Mizuno blade, expressed in two variants – Kyoto P (plumber) and Kyoto S (slant).

Each features a toe-biased blade pad design, positioning the centre of gravity directly behind the impact zone for unmatched control and connection.

A thicker sole structure in the heel and toe enhances rigidity, refining both the sound and feel through impact and removing any trace of metallic resonance. The result is a putter that embodies classic proportions yet feels entirely modern in feedback and flow.

Available in right and left-handed. Pre-sale begins on Monday 26 January 2026, and they will be available in-store from Tuesday 12 February 2026.

Mizuno M.Craft City Series Osaka putter Mizuno M.Craft City Series Osaka putter

Price: $300.00 / £299.00

Defined by its refined mid-mallet silhouette, the Osaka (available in plumber and slant-neck configurations) blends traditional shaping with contemporary stability.

Its shorter heel-toe length and wide blade stance provide visual stability at address, instilling confidence before every stroke.

Perimeter weighting provides enhanced MOI, while subtle toe hang options allow players to select their preferred release profile.

The Osaka’s balanced proportions and deep milling deliver the crisp, satisfying sound and roll that Mizuno’s tour staff demanded, a model equally suited to both blade and mallet players seeking assured stability without sacrificing feel.

Available only in right-handed. Pre-sale begins on Monday 26 January 2026, and they will be available in-store from Tuesday 12 February 2026.

Mizuno M.Craft City Series Nagoya putter Mizuno M.Craft City Series Nagoya putter

Price: $300.00 / £299.00

Driven by Mizuno’s extensive sound and vibration analysis, the Nagoya introduces the Roll-Up Cavity, a geometry designed to minimise sole displacement at impact while amplifying resonance control.

Available in a slant or double-bend neck, this unique structure produces a denser, more solid strike and an ultra-stable roll.

Enhanced perimeter weighting further increases MOI, while the refined mass distribution delivers a truer sensation through the stroke, the culmination of years of acoustic and structural study.

Available in right and left-handed. Pre-sale begins on Monday 26 January 2026, and they will be available in-store from Tuesday 12 February 2026.

Mizuno M.Craft City Series Tokyo putter Mizuno M.Craft City Series Tokyo putter

Price: $300.00 / £299.00

The Tokyo showcases Mizuno’s Channel Wing design, a sculpted cavity that blends aerodynamic form with exceptional rigidity.

Like the Nagoya, its geometry is tuned through sound analysis to eliminate unwanted frequencies and the metallic ‘ting’ found in earlier OMOI prototypes.

Also available in slant or double-bend, the Tokyo’s more compact profile appeals to purists seeking precision and feedback in a shape that frames the ball cleanly and promotes a natural, repeatable stroke.

Available only in right-handed. Pre-sale begins on Monday 26 January 2026, and they will be available in-store from Tuesday 12 February 2026.
