What is this Japanese dish?!

I was served this for breakfast at a ryokan on the Izu Peninsula. Broth was thick and rich, savory and sweet. Beef or pork were tender and soft tofu was layered on the bottom. It was so good and I would love to recreate! anyone know the name of the dish?
