Today marks a truly magical milestone as Tokyo Disney Resort welcomes their 900 millionth guest!

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 42 years and 266 days since Tokyo Disneyland opened on April 15, 1983. Since then, millions of guests from Japan and around the world have experienced the wonder of two incredible parks: Tokyo Disneyland, the first international Disney park, and Tokyo DisneySea, the only Disney park themed to the sea.

There’s quite a few new things to discover right now at Tokyo Disney Resort! Guests can explore Fantasy Springs, the stunning new port at Tokyo DisneySea that opened just over a year ago. This immersive land brings the beloved Disney Animation stories Frozen, Peter Pan, and Tangled to life with breathtaking attractions, themed dining, and enchanting details.

Tokyo DisneySea is also celebrating the 20th anniversary of Duffy and Friends with “Colorful Happiness,” a heartwarming event filled with vibrant décor, adorable merchandise, and themed treats. The highlight? A joyful boat parade featuring Duffy and his pals in their celebratory outfits, spreading happiness across the waterways of Tokyo DisneySea.

Since opening in 1983, Tokyo Disney Resort has grown into one of the most beloved destinations in the world. From the early days of Tokyo Disneyland to the grand opening of Tokyo DisneySea in 2001, the resort has continued to evolve, offering new adventures while bringing happiness to guests.

As we celebrate this incredible achievement, we want to say thank you to every guest who has walked through our gates and helped make Tokyo Disney Resort a place where dreams come true. Here’s to the next magical milestone!
