Fiji Tourism Board Seeks New Representative Office in Japan

The Fiji Government Tourism Board has launched an open call for proposals for a new representative office in Japan.

The board is seeking a representative office in Japan that will be responsible for collaboration with the local travel industry and public relations activities in the Japanese market. Requirements include a proven track record as a representative of a national tourism organization or destination marketing organization, experience in building relationships not only with traditional media but also with digital media and influencers, and experience in planning and executing marketing and PR events. One of the key performance indicators will be increasing the annual number of travelers from Japan to Fiji to more than 14,000. The initial contract period is two years. The deadline for submitting proposals is January 23, and selection and appointment are scheduled for March 2.

In addition, the contract with Biz-M Asia will end on January 31. During the transition period after the contract ends, Vincent Zheng, Director for Asia, will be in charge of the operations.
