Fuji Dream Airlines (FDA), a Japanese regional airline, will offer “Wakkanai Potemarco” as an in-flight service for a limited time from January 1 to 31.
Wakkanai Potemarco is a crumbly-textured cookie made by kneading whole “Yūchi-imo” potatoes, including the skin, produced in the Yūchi district of Wakkanai City in northern Japan. During the campaign period, it will be served on FDA Flight 211 from Matsumoto to Sapporo/Chitose.
In addition, the airline has installed special headrest covers on its 12th aircraft featuring information that showcases the attractions of Wakkanai, and also operates charter flights to Wakkanai during the summer season.
