    It's pronounced 'Kyo-to', not 'Kai-yo-to. Actually, in Japanese, 'Ky' is always a short sound. It's like the 'kyo' in Tokyo

    Japan has a lot of deep culture and beautiful nature in the countryside other than big cities.
    中国の高速鉄道は日本とドイツの技術です。速さに関してですが、中国の鉄道は直線で日本の様に多様な地形と都市部を走ってる訳ではありません。日本は交通機関として必要な安全と騒音を考慮した速さです。
    それと、日本人が目を合わさないのは、文化的な物です。特に知らない人と目を合わせる行為は攻撃性や、ストーカーなど気持ち悪い人だとみなされます。　動物はそもそも目を合わせると襲って来ますので生物的には正しいんだと思います。

    Osaka was never the capital. Kyoto was the capital of Japan for more than 1000 years before it was moved to Tokyo.

    The people pulling suitcases are not Japanese, but mostly tourists from Asia.
