Today we’re trying some of the most exclusive Australian steaks and steakhouses in Sydney, Australia! And as a bonus we’ll also try the highest rated burger in Australia – rated #9 in the entire world at The Gidley.

Both of these steakhouses are very unique in Sydney, and both of them are located underground in basements and so you feel pretty exclusive when you eat there… but how is the food?

Total bill – $154.02 AUD ($100.41)

1.1 kg. Bistecca alla Fiorentina – About $150
Total bill – $292.74 AUD ($190.84)

Total price for everything at both restaurants was – $446.76 Australian Dollars, and it was well worth it for a special celebration meal!

    I'm really glad you came to review steaks in Australia and visited various secret restaurants. It's fortunate for viewers that you didn't review Rockpool because the steaks there are expensive but unremarkable.

    If it isn't game meat, it cannot be the best steak in Australia. Fresh game Venison, a back strap Red or Samba, or any game is by far better than any restaurant meat from frozen Beef or anything that has been frozen. Its like the King Crab you had in Norway. Nothing beats fresh.

    I took my son to Bistecca when he started his chef’s apprenticeship, for training and inspiration! It is my favourite restaurant in Sydney by a mile. Food, atmosphere, service are all 10/10. Save up and go to Bistecca if you are ever in Sydney.

    The best steak in Australia was wagyu roast in Flying fish in Darling Harbour. Before they stopped doing it.

    A sirloin steak from Ireland won 2025 worlds best steak award yet again ,why do people overlook the country with the best meat in the world, simple real food that doesn't need all sorts of spices to make it taste good

    Mark stuffs in quality restaurant fare like it's greasy food scoffed after a big night out on the turps. I'm not sure he knows the differene between excellent chef work and a fast food chain. It all gets overstuffed in his mouth in the same sacriligious way with the same commentary.
